Message class: TR_AUSL - Software Delivery Composer Messages
Message number: 510
Message text: Modifying several software components is not allowed
The current delivery request &V1& contains modified objects from
multiple software components. This is not allowed, since you may have to
create a CRT (Conflict Resolution Transport) for every Support Package
of every modified software component to adjust your modifications.
When multiple software components have been modified, creating CRTs
usually takes a lot of time and is sometimes not even possible.
The affected objects are displayed in the results overview of the object
list check.
Check the delivery relevance of the specified objects and remove any
objects that are not relevant, particularly if only single or very few
objects of a software component are included.

TR_AUSL510
- Modifying several software components is not allowed ?The SAP error message TR_AUSL510, which states "Modifying several software components is not allowed," typically occurs during a transport request operation in the SAP system. This error indicates that the system is preventing modifications to multiple software components simultaneously, which is not permitted due to integrity and consistency concerns.
Cause:
- Multiple Software Components: The transport request is attempting to modify objects that belong to different software components. SAP enforces rules to ensure that changes to different components do not lead to inconsistencies.
- Transport Request Configuration: The transport request may have been incorrectly configured to include objects from multiple components.
- System Configuration: The system may have specific settings or restrictions that prevent modifications across different components.
Solution:
- Check Transport Request: Review the transport request to ensure that it only includes objects from a single software component. If it includes objects from multiple components, you will need to separate them into different transport requests.
- Create Separate Transport Requests: If you have objects from different components, create separate transport requests for each component. This will allow you to transport changes without violating the system's restrictions.
- Review Dependencies: If there are dependencies between the objects in different components, consider how to manage these dependencies. You may need to transport them in a specific order or ensure that all necessary components are included in the same transport.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to transport management for any specific guidelines or best practices regarding the transport of objects across different software components.
- Check System Settings: If you have the necessary permissions, check the system settings related to transport management to see if there are any restrictions that can be adjusted.
