  • Message text: Basis objects cannot be created in application systems

  • What causes this issue?

    This system is an application development system. No basis objects may
    be created in this system. The assignment to basis/application is
    determined by the package.
    Basis objects are always assigned to packages beginning with "S" and
    may only be created in a basis development system.
    Application objects are assigned to an arbitrary transportable package
    NOT beginning with "S" and may not be created in basis development
    systems.
    Objects in T package are not assigned to basis or applications.

    System Response

    The function terminates.

    How to fix this error?

    Create the object involved in the integration system of the selected
    package, or choose a valid package.
