The SAP error message TR601 indicates that the name of an object (such as a transport request, program, or other repository object) exceeds the maximum length allowed by the system. In SAP, different types of objects have specific naming conventions and length restrictions, and this error typically arises when an object name exceeds these limits.

        • Classes: 30 characters
        • Database tables: 30 characters
      • Make sure to use prefixes or abbreviations that are standard in your organization.
    3. Use Transaction Codes:

      • If you are working with transport requests, you can use transaction codes like SE01, SE09, or SE10 to manage transport requests and check for naming issues.
    4. Testing:

      • After renaming the object, test to ensure that it functions correctly and that there are no further issues related to the name change.
