- Object &2, referred to by the object key, does not exist ?The SAP error message TR600 indicates that a specific object, referred to by its object key, does not exist in the system. This error typically occurs in the context of transport requests or when trying to access or manage objects that are expected to be present in the SAP system.
Cause:
- Object Not Created: The object you are trying to access or transport has not been created or does not exist in the specified client or system.
- Transport Request Issues: The object may have been deleted or not included in the transport request.
- Incorrect Object Key: The object key provided may be incorrect or malformed.
- Client-Specific Objects: The object may exist in a different client but not in the one you are currently working in.
- Authorization Issues: Lack of proper authorizations may prevent access to the object, leading to the perception that it does not exist.
Solution:
- Verify Object Existence: Check if the object actually exists in the system. You can do this by using the appropriate transaction code (e.g., SE80 for objects, SE11 for database tables, etc.) to search for the object.
- Check Transport Request: If you are working with transport requests, ensure that the object is included in the transport request. You can check the transport logs for any issues.
- Correct Object Key: Double-check the object key you are using to ensure it is correct and corresponds to the object you are trying to access.
- Client Check: Make sure you are in the correct client where the object is supposed to exist. If the object is client-specific, switch to the appropriate client.
- Authorization Check: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to access the object. You may need to consult with your SAP security team if you suspect authorization issues.
- Recreate the Object: If the object is indeed missing and should exist, you may need to recreate it or restore it from a backup if available.
