Message text: & cannot be deleted as options 'Tested'/'Error corrected' were not used
You can only delete change request &V1& from the display, when a test
or the elimination of the cause of the change request error is
confirmed.
The function terminates.
When you have checked that the objects in the change request function
correctly in the environment of the target system(s), choose <LS>Tested
</> for the change request.
If a faulty transport took place, you should find out the cause of the
error in the transport logs. Eliminate the error with an appropriate
action, for example, by carrying out a subsequent transport.
If you want to delete multiple requests from the display, without
confirming the test or elimination of the error, select the requests
and choose <LS>Delete</>.

TR487
- & cannot be deleted as options 'Tested'/'Error corrected' were not used ?The SAP error message TR487 typically occurs in the context of transport requests. This error indicates that a transport request cannot be deleted because it has been marked with the status 'Tested' or 'Error corrected'. These statuses imply that the transport request has undergone some form of validation or correction, and as a result, it cannot be deleted without following specific procedures.
Cause:
- Transport Request Status: The transport request has been marked as 'Tested' or 'Error corrected', which means it has been through a testing phase or has corrections applied to it.
- System Integrity: SAP enforces these rules to maintain the integrity of the transport system and ensure that changes that have been validated or corrected are not inadvertently removed.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
Check the Status: Verify the status of the transport request in the Transport Organizer (transaction code SE09 or SE10). If it is marked as 'Tested' or 'Error corrected', you will need to change its status.
Change the Status:
- If you have the necessary authorizations, you can change the status of the transport request. This can typically be done by:
- Selecting the transport request in the Transport Organizer.
- Right-clicking and choosing the option to change the status.
- Setting it back to a status that allows deletion (e.g., 'Modifiable').
Delete the Transport Request: Once the status has been changed, you should be able to delete the transport request without encountering the TR487 error.
Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about changing the status or the implications of doing so, consult your SAP documentation or reach out to your SAP Basis team for guidance.
Use Transaction SE01: If you have the necessary permissions, you can also use transaction SE01 to manage transport requests more comprehensively, including changing their status.
Related Information:
If you continue to face issues or if the transport request is critical, it may be best to consult with your SAP Basis administrator or support team for further assistance.
