Errors occurred when transporting request &V1&. Therefore you have to
read the corresponding logs and correct the error. You can then
perform the function <LS>Error corrected</>.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
This action is not permitted and is therefore canceled.
Position the cursor on the change request which was transported

TR486
- Request & had errors: Only option 'Error corrected' can be executed ?The SAP error message TR486 indicates that there are errors in a transport request, and the only option available for handling these errors is to mark the request as "Error corrected." This typically occurs when there are issues with the objects included in the transport request, such as missing dependencies, syntax errors, or other inconsistencies that prevent the transport from being successfully imported into the target system.
Cause:
- Syntax Errors: There may be syntax errors in the ABAP code or other objects included in the transport request.
- Missing Objects: The transport request may reference objects that do not exist in the target system.
- Dependencies: The request may depend on other transport requests that have not been imported yet.
- Inconsistent State: The transport request may be in an inconsistent state due to previous errors during import.
Solution:
To resolve the TR486 error, follow these steps:
Check the Transport Logs: Review the transport logs to identify the specific errors that occurred during the import. This will provide insight into what needs to be corrected.
Correct the Errors:
- If there are syntax errors, correct them in the development environment.
- Ensure that all dependent objects are included in the transport request or have been imported into the target system.
Re-transport the Request: After correcting the errors, you may need to create a new transport request or modify the existing one to include the corrected objects.
Mark as 'Error Corrected': If you are unable to correct the errors or if the request is no longer needed, you can mark the transport request as "Error corrected" in the transport management system. This will allow you to proceed without the request causing further issues.
Test the Changes: After making corrections and re-importing the transport request, ensure that the changes work as expected in the target system.
