What causes this issue?

The generic name specified for the name range to be reserved cannot be
longer than the maximum name length permitted for the selected object
type.
The maximum length of the object name for objects with type &V2& is
&V3& characters.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select a shorter generic name for specifying the reserved name range.
