What causes this issue?

During generation of the initializing business transaction for the
following position, either the acquisition value or the capitalized
costs have opposite signs in the position or valuation currencies:
ID number: &V1&
Securities account: &V2&
Valuation area: &V3&
Company code: &V4&

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check if this inconsistency already existed in the old data. If it did
not, a program error has probably occurred.
