System Response

The function area &V3& is cleared after changing the account assignment
reference from &V2& to &V1& .

How to fix this error?

Check in Customizing if a function area is assigned to the account
assignment reference &V1& (Customizing activity
<DS:SIMG.TRACV_ADDACCDATA>Allocate Additional Account Assignments to
Account Assignment References</>).
Change position indicator to manually assign a function area if needed.
