Message text: Changes to SSCR setting only in emergencies, cancel changes
You have changed the namespace setting for the SSCR dialog box. This is
generally not advisable and should only be done in urgent cases (for
example, after being told to do so by the SAP hotline). Therefore undo
the change to the SSCR dialog box.
Information on the SSCR dialog box namespace attribute:
The setting of this attribute is irrelevant for producer namespaces
(namespaces with role 'P'). It is therefore not necessary to change the
default setting.
In the case of recipient namespaces (namespaces with role 'C'), it only
makes sense to activate the SSCR dialog box namespace attribute for SAP
namespaces for which a change key (SAP Software Change Registration
(SSCR)) can be obtained in the SAP service systems for objects from the
namespace.
In addition, deactivating the attribute for these namespaces does not
mean that object changes can be carried out without an SSCR key prompt
- on the contrary, changes without a valid repair license for the
namespace cannot be made at all.
Do not change the default setting here either.
Processing is continued, and you have the chance to correct your
change.
Undo the change you made to the setting of the SSCR dialog box
attribute for the current namespace &V1&.

TO145
- Changes to SSCR setting only in emergencies, cancel changes ?The SAP error message TO145 indicates that changes to the Software Change Request (SSCR) settings are restricted and can only be made in emergency situations. This is a safeguard to prevent unauthorized or unnecessary changes to the system configuration, which could lead to instability or security issues.
Cause:

Evaluate the Need for Changes: Before attempting to change SSCR settings, assess whether it is truly necessary. If the changes are not urgent or critical, it is best to leave the settings as they are.
Emergency Change Process: If you determine that the changes are indeed necessary and qualify as an emergency, follow your organization's protocol for emergency changes. This may involve:
- Documenting the reason for the change.
- Getting approval from a higher authority or change management team.
- Ensuring that you have the necessary authorizations to make the changes.
Authorization: Ensure that you have the appropriate authorizations to make changes to SSCR settings. You may need to contact your SAP Basis administrator or security team to request the necessary permissions.

orSCC1
