What causes this issue?

Check failed for a valid maintenance certificate for system &V2& because
the patch level of the kernel that was used is too low (current patch
level: &V1&).

How to fix this error?

Install a kernel with a least <ZH>patch level 145</>.
Background Information
As of 2009, maintenance certificates are required to be able to install
and maintain SAP software with the Add-On Installation Tool and Support
Package Manager. These maintenance certificates can be requested with
SAP Solution Manager and are distributed to the systems automatically.
