The SAP error message TN433 indicates that there are conflicts in the transport request (TR) related to an add-on. This message typically arises when there are overlapping objects or dependencies between different transport requests, particularly when dealing with add-ons or enhancements.

    Cause:

The error message TN433 is triggered when the system detects that there are conflicting objects in the transport request for an add-on. This can happen due to:

    1. Overlapping Objects: Two or more transport requests are trying to modify the same objects or components.
    2. Dependency Issues: The add-on may have dependencies on other objects or transport requests that are not resolved.
    3. Version Conflicts: Different versions of the same add-on or component may be present in the system.

    Solution:

To resolve the TN433 error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Analyze the Transport Requests: Check the transport requests involved in the conflict. You can use transaction codes like SE01 (Transport Organizer) or SE09 (Workbench Organizer) to view the details of the transport requests.

    3. Include CRT: The message suggests including CRT (Conflict Resolution Technique) for the add-on. This means you may need to adjust the transport request to resolve the conflicts. You can do this by:

      • Manually adjusting the transport request to include the necessary objects.
      • Using the transport management system (TMS) to resolve conflicts automatically.
    4. Re-import the Transport Request: After resolving the conflicts, re-import the transport request to see if the issue is resolved.

    5. Consult Documentation: Check the documentation for the specific add-on you are working with. There may be specific instructions or known issues related to the version you are using.

    6. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance. They may have additional insights or patches available for your specific situation.

    Related Information:

    • Transport Management System (TMS): Familiarize yourself with TMS, as it is crucial for managing transport requests and resolving conflicts.
    • SAP Notes: Search for relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide guidance on handling transport conflicts.
    • Version Control: Ensure that all systems involved (development, quality assurance, production) are on compatible versions of the add-on to minimize conflicts.
