What causes this issue?

The system was unable to select category 8 generic transactions (sample
hierarchy for generic transactions). No such transaction exists.

How to fix this error?

If you want to use a template here, then you must first create a sample
transaction. You do this by means of transaction RCA00.
In the header data for the transaction, you set the category to 8.
However, you do not have to use a template.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
