What causes this issue?

You tried to change the indicator for a font family, which specifies
whether the font is proportional or nonproportional.

System Response

The change is not permitted.

How to fix this error?

The proportional indicator can only be changed for font families, for
which printer fonts have not yet been created in the system. Otherwise
errors will occur when the font family is used to display or print
text, as the information which needs to be stored in the system for
proportional fonts is different to that for nonproportional fonts.
