TD141
- The SAP original of form &1 language &2 was opened in the editor ?The SAP error message TD141 indicates that the original version of a form (such as a Smart Form or SAPscript) is currently open in the editor. This can happen when you attempt to modify or transport a form that is already being edited by another user or session.
Cause:
- Form Already Open: The form you are trying to access is already open in the SAPscript or Smart Forms editor by another user or in another session.
- Lock Mechanism: SAP uses a locking mechanism to prevent multiple users from editing the same object simultaneously. If the form is locked, you will receive this error.
Solution:
Check for Open Sessions:
- Verify if the form is open in another session or by another user. You can do this by checking the transaction
SM12
(Lock Entries) to see if there is a lock on the form.- If you find a lock, you can either wait for the other user to finish or contact them to close the form.
Close the Editor:
- If you have the form open in another session, simply close that session or the editor.
Use Transaction SE71 or SMARTFORMS:
- If you are using Smart Forms, navigate to transaction
SMARTFORMS
and check if the form is open there.- For SAPscript, use transaction
SE71
to check the status of the form.Unlock the Form:
- If you determine that the lock is no longer valid (for example, if the user has logged off), you can manually delete the lock entry in
SM12
. However, be cautious with this approach, as it may disrupt another user's work.Transport Request:
- If you are trying to transport the form, ensure that it is not locked in the transport request. You may need to check the transport logs or requests.
