How To Fix TAX_EXEMPT039 - Deletion not allowed for certificate &1 with status &2

SAP Error Message - Details

• Message type: E = Error

• Message class: TAX_EXEMPT - Message class for tax exempt certificate

• Message number: 039

• Message text: Deletion not allowed for certificate &1 with status &2

What causes this issue?

Only certificates with status 'In Creation' or space can be deleted.
Certificate with status 'Released', 'In-Use' and 'Completed' could not
be deleted. However they can be set as 'Completed' if required.

System Response

An error message will be displayed.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
