What causes this issue?

Your user name contains a special character '*'.

System Response

Users with special characters in their names may not be allowed to
perform exports.
This especially affects copies with cross-client customizing, because a
transport request must be created for them, even for remote copies.

How to fix this error?

Use a user name without special characters.
You may have to make a copy with users or customizing into an empty
client first (to be able to create a new user).

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
