    The function you have selected allows the start of a new workflow. This
    workflow works with an object that is contained in the work item that
    you have currently selected.
    However, the work item that you have selected does not currently have
    such an object.

    System Response

    The system cannot start a workflow without an object.
    The function was therefore cancelled.

    How to fix this error?

    Only execute this function if you have first selected a work item that
    contains an object.
    Work item objects are displayed, for example, in the preview - in the
    lower area of your Business Workplace.
    There is also the function in your Business Workplace <LS>Environment
    -> Display object in workflow</> which displays the content of a work
    item.
