Message type: E = Error
Message class: SWF_XI_INBOUND - XI BPE Inbound Processing
Message number: 009
Message text: Process instance &1 does not contain active receiver steps for message &2
An inbound message cannot be delivered to the selected process instance
because there are no active receive steps that can process the message.
The process does have at least one active correlation that matches the
message, but the corresponding receive step has not yet been reached.
The message stays in the qRFC queue for the corresponding process type
and the qRFC entry is given error status.
This error indicates that an unsuitable process modelling has been
selected. Problems can occur in the following cases:
The messages do not arrive in the sequence in which they can be
processed by the process.
The processing that follows a receive step cannot continue synchronously
until the next receive step. As a result, the system attempts to deliver
new messages to the process before the responsible receive step has been
reached. For example, this is the case when processing contains receive
or send steps with acknowledgments.
Check whether <ZK>Inbound Processing with Buffering</> or <ZK>Inbound
Processing Without Buffering</> is most suitable for this process type.
For more information, see the documentation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
