The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

What causes this issue?

Linkage for the relevant event receiver is deactivated. This consumer
(for example, a workflow) will not be started for the following events
while the linkage is deactivated. The events are not buffered.

In event linkage maintenance (transaction SWE2), change "Behaviour Upon
Error Feedback".
