What causes this issue?

The table/view maintenance dialog &V1& is the basis dialog of one or
more view variants. Changing this basis dialog compare flag can affect
the compare procedure and the activation of Business Configuration Sets
via the dependent view variants.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Ensure that the new compare flag is compatible with the view variant
compare flags. You can find the view variants as follows:
Start the view maintenance transaction SM30 (menu <LS>System - Services
- Table Maintenance - Extended Table Maintenance</>).
Choose <PF>Find Maintenance Dialog (C</>trl + F1).
Enter the table name <LB>&V1&</><LB> </>in the following dialog box.
All view variants which are based on the maintenance dialog and must be
checked, are listed in a <LS>Search Help </>dialog box.
The compare flag for a view variant cannot have a "higher" value than
that of its basis dialog.
If for example a view maintenance dialog is flagged as "not
adjustable", none of its view variants can be flagged "automatically
adjustable".
