Message text: Compare flag changes affect view variants and view clusters
The table/view maintenance dialog &V1& is the basis dialog of one or
more view variants and is also used in one or more view clusters.
Changing the compare flag for this maintenance dialog can thus also
affect the compare procedure and the activation of Business
Configuration Sets via these view variants and view clusters.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Ensure that the new compare flag is compatible with the view variant
and view cluster compare flag. You can find the view variants and view
clusters as follows:
Start the view maintenance transaction SM30 (menu <LS>System - Services
- Table Maintenance - Extended Table Maintenance</>).
Choose <PF>Find Maintenance Dialog (Ctrl + F1)</>.
Enter the table name<LB> &V1&</> in the following dialog box. All the
view variants and view clusters which are based on the maintenance dia
log and must be checked are listed in a search help dialog box.
The compare flag of a view cluster cannot take a "higher" value than
the "lowest" of its maintenance dialogs.
If for example, a view maintenance dialog is flagged as "not
adjustable", no view cluster which contains the dialog can be flagged
as "automatically adjustable".
The same is true correspondingly for a basis dialog and its view
variants.
