Message number: 323
Message text: Change management switched on. Automatic updates are done periodically!
The automatic Design time to Runtime change management for Web Service
(WS) configurations (consumers and providers) is currently switched on.
Changes done to design time objects (service definitions, proxy
definitions, message types, service groups, and mapping objects), either
done in the ABAP workbench directly or imported into this SAP system via
the SAP transport system, lead to automatic attempts to adjust the WS
configurations using these design time objects.
This message is just a notice for you, that automatic adjustment
attempts of WS configurations are getting performed. This status is the
regular status of WS Design time to Runtime change management and you
should keep this state on regular processing of your SAP system.
There is no action to be taken.
Switching into the inactive state could be of interest, if your system
is in a special processing mode (e.g. like during a system upgrade or
during support package import) or if advised by SAP support personnel
for special reasons.
If you want to switch off the automatic change management, then you can
use the activate button in the transaction WSUPDATECHECK to do so. That
transaction can also always be used to trigger a manual adjustment
process independent of the activation status.
