What causes this issue?

You have tried to change an attachment that you have not created or
added to the record yourself. This is not permitted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If necessary, enter a new attachment and edit it. If the attachment is
a document, you can also copy the document and continue to work in the
copy.
