Message text: Switching off digital signature generation is not legally permitted
You have switched off digital signature generation for a number range
interval for which signing has already started. The relevant law states
that you must not stop digitally signing documents that use a number
range interval for which digital signature generation has already
started.
If you need to change the parameters, create a new number range interval
and stop using this one. If you change the parameters, this can lead to
inconsistencies in the database.
SAP is not responsible for the impact of stopping digital signature
generation.
If you do not reverse the change<(>,<)> one of the following will apply:
The user will not be able to post documents with this document type.
The user will be able to post documents with this document type, but the
documents will not have digital signatures. It is not possible to create
digital signatures retroactively.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Switch digital signature generation back on.
Alternatively, create a new number range interval without digital
signature generation, but with a different combination of leading
document type and series.
