What causes this issue?

Segmentation structure and strategy cannot be changed for the
material/article with the selected material category.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can select material/article to be assigned or unassigned from a
different material category.
