What causes this issue?

The long text from the service master is displayed in purchasing
documents. Changes to the text are only possible in the service master
record and directly affect the text displayed in the purchasing
documents.
When a text is adopted from the service master record, a copy of the
text is created, which can be changed in the purchasing document. Any
changes made to the text in the service master record have no effect on
the text thus adopted.
