    System Response

HDI objects are deployed in two steps for each HDI container:
    Import of the HDI objects
    Activation of the HDI objects
    Deployment Details
HDI objects are deployed across requests. The deployment itself,
however, is logged for individual requests. This means that, in cases
where multiple transport requests are imported at the same time, only
the last object version is deployed for each object. This is the version
of the last request in the import queue in which an object appears. If
an object version is deployed that does not match the current request,
this logged using <zk>version of <(><<)>transport request number></> on
log level 4 for this object.
Seen technically, cross-request deployments always make the HDI calls
for the deployments pass the objects of all imported requests. This
means that objects can be specified at the lowest level in the HDI log
that are not part of this request but that are part of another request
    imported at the same time.
The summary of those objects imported and activated successfully always
applies to a particular request and only names objects in the request
for which the log is displayed.
If errors occur in individual objects, they are specified as errors only
in the logs of the requests of the objects in question.

The SAP error message SCTS_HDI201 typically indicates an issue during the deployment of HDI (HANA Deployment Infrastructure) objects in an SAP HANA environment. This error can occur for various reasons, and understanding the cause is essential for troubleshooting and resolving the issue.

    Possible Causes:

    1. Dependency Issues: The HDI objects being deployed may have dependencies that are not met. This could be due to missing or outdated objects in the database.
    2. Syntax Errors: There may be syntax errors in the SQL scripts or other artifacts being deployed.
    3. Resource Limitations: The HANA database may be running low on resources (memory, CPU, etc.), which can prevent successful deployment.
    4. Version Mismatch: There could be a version mismatch between the HDI container and the HANA database.
    5. Configuration Issues: Incorrect configuration settings in the HDI container or the deployment process can lead to errors.
    6. Permissions: The user or service account executing the deployment may not have the necessary permissions to create or modify the HDI objects.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Dependencies: Ensure that all dependent objects are available and correctly defined in the HDI container. You may need to deploy them first.
    2. Review Logs: Check the deployment logs for more detailed error messages that can provide insights into what went wrong.
    3. Validate Syntax: Review the SQL scripts and other artifacts for any syntax errors or issues that could cause the deployment to fail.
    4. Monitor Resources: Use monitoring tools to check the resource usage of the HANA database. If resources are low, consider optimizing the database or increasing the allocated resources.
    5. Check Versions: Ensure that the HDI container and the HANA database are compatible and that you are using the correct versions.
    6. Permissions Review: Verify that the user or service account has the necessary permissions to perform the deployment. Adjust permissions as needed.
    7. Retry Deployment: After addressing the above issues, try redeploying the HDI objects.
