Message type: E = Error
Message class: SCPR - BC Sets
Message number: 722
Message text: Incompletely-specified data records must be edited manually
The selected Switch BC-Set contains incomplete data records, which could
not be automatically completed with current data from the database
tables.
Incomplete data records (key but no data fields) are usually
automatically completed with current data from the database, according
to the key, at the start of the BC Set maintenance transaction SCPR3 in
change mode. Keys for which there are no data records in the database
tables are flagged for deletion.
Language-dependent data records which are no longer in the database in
the current logon language (the original language of the Switch BC Set,
because they can only be maintained in their original language), but in
another language, are not automatically completed. If the data record
does not exist in any language, it is flagged for deletion . If the data
record existed in the logon language, it would be completed with the
data fields in the current language.
<ZK>Note:</>
If a language-dependent data record is flagged for deletion, only the
current language is shown in the data record key, in the BC Set
maintenance transaction, because this transaction can only display data
in the current logon language. The data record will be deleted in all
other languages in the activation system, when the BC Set is activated.
In this case there are incomplete data records in the Switch BC Set
logon language, for which there are other languages in the database
tables. These data records are not automatically completed/attributed.
The user must post-process these data records manually in one of three
ways:
The user selects the data records individually, by selecting
tables/views from the table overview, and double-clicking on data
records. He can decide whether to put each data record as "To be
Deleted", or not at all, in the current Switch BC Set.
All these data records can be flagged for deletion with the function "
Flag All (Affected) Data Records as 'To Be Deleted", which appears below
the data display.
All these data records can be deleted from the Switch BC Set with the
function "Do Not Put Affected Data Records in BC Set ", which appears
below the data display.
The Switch BC Set must be saved before it can be transported and/or
activated.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
