Message type: E = Error
Message class: SCPR - BC Sets
Message number: 425
Message text: Field &1 of table/view &2 is removed from the BC Set
The field &V1& (field name '&V4&') of table/view '&V2&', which is in the
BC Set, is deleted. It can only be maintained directly in the table '
&V3&', or an appropriate view.
This field was put in the BC Set by a previous create procedure,
although it cannot be maintained in the associated table/view. This
field is deleted from the BC Set after switching to change mode and
saving, to ensure the consistency of the BC Set with future versions.
<ZH>Note:</>
This change does not cause inconsistencies in the existing BC Set, as is
made clear by the following description of the various use scenarios:
<ZU>The BC Set was only used to document existing customizing settings:
</>
If the customizing for the field '&V1&' is to be recorded, the table '
&V3&' (from which the field originally came) must also be recorded in
the BC Set (or another BC Set).
<ZU>The BC Set was created to distribute/rollout/activate customizing
settings:</>
Here too, the field is not maintained in the table/view '&V2&', so it is
not put in the database table(s) by an activation. So the original table
'&V3&' must be in the BC Set separately in this case too.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
