  • What causes this issue?

    The BC Set &V2& is locked by the user &V1&.
    A BC Set can only be edited by one user in one session. The structure
    of the BC Set can change while it is locked, so certain actions are not
    allowed while it is locked:
    Go to change mode
    The following actions are thus not possible:
    Change the structure (IMG activities, customizing objects, data
    records)
    Change validity range/text and attributes (country/industry)
    Change documentation
    Copy BC Set
    Delete BC Set
    Download to a file
    Print BC Set
    Activate BC Set

    System Response

    Changes and actions which would document an inconsistent status (copy,
    download file, print, activate) are not allowed.

    How to fix this error?

    Contact the person who is locking the BC Set, or wait until the lock is
    reset.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Cause: User Lock: The BC Set is currently being edited or accessed by another user. Session Timeout: A user may have left a session open, causing the lock to persist. System Error: An unexpected error or crash may have left the BC Set in a locked state.
    Solution: Identify the Locking User: Check who is currently locking the BC Set. You can do this by using transaction code SM12 to view the lock entries. Look for the user ID that is locking the BC Set. Contact the User: If possible, contact the user who is locking the BC Set and ask them to release
