SCPR304
- Error filling transport tables of object &1 ?The SAP error message SCPR304, which states "Error filling transport tables of object &1," typically occurs during transport operations in the SAP system. This error indicates that there was a problem when trying to fill the transport tables for a specific object, which can prevent the transport from being completed successfully.
Causes:
- Missing or Incomplete Transport Request: The transport request may not have been properly created or may be missing necessary components.
- Authorization Issues: The user performing the transport may not have the required authorizations to access or modify the transport tables.
- Database Issues: There may be issues with the database, such as locks or corruption, that prevent the transport tables from being updated.
- Object Locking: The object being transported may be locked by another user or process, preventing the transport from proceeding.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration issues in the transport management system (TMS) that affect the transport process.
Solutions:
- Check Transport Request: Verify that the transport request is complete and contains all necessary objects. You can do this by checking the transport request in the Transport Organizer (SE09 or SE10).
- Review Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to perform the transport. You may need to check roles and profiles assigned to the user.
- Database Check: Check the database for any locks or issues. You can use transaction codes like SM12 (to check for locks) and SM21 (to check the system log) to identify any underlying database issues.
- Release Locks: If the object is locked, you may need to unlock it. This can be done using transaction SM12, where you can delete the lock entries if they are no longer needed.
- Transport Management Configuration: Review the TMS configuration to ensure that it is set up correctly. You can check this in transaction STMS.
- Check Logs: Look at the transport logs for more detailed error messages. This can provide additional context on what went wrong during the transport process.
- Recreate Transport Request: If the transport request is corrupted or incomplete, consider recreating it and re-adding the necessary objects.
