In the definition of the serial number profile (table TSERIAL), a unit
of measure has been defined that does not correspond to the base unit of
measture of the material.
If the material is a catch weight material, the unit of measure of the
serial number profile does not correspond to the logistics unit of
measure.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Correct the base unit of measure of the material or change the serial
number profile. In the case of catch weight materials, you can change
the logistic unit of measure only when you create a material. You must
therefore adjust the serial number profile when you change the material.
