SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY - IMG Activity

  • Message number: 219

  • Message text: At least one table in object &1 has incorrect cascading attribute

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

At least one table/view for object &V1& (view cluster or individual
transaction) has a wrong cascade property.
One of the following groups of delivery classes should include all
    tables of an object:
No client cascade: Delivery class 'C' and 'A'
With client cascade: Delivery class 'S', 'E', 'G', and 'W'

    System Response

The object cannot be included completely in the concrete switch BC set.
In the switch BC set, only the tables/views that meet the specification
of the cascade properties are transferred. When activating the switch BC
set, all contents ( according to specification) are then either cascaded
to all relevant clients or are only imported into the reference client.

    How to fix this error?

In the object, only tables/views with the same cascade properties should
be used so that the object can be used completely in a switch BC set.
Check whether you can harmonize the delivery classes for all
    tables/views of the object <(>&<)>V1&.
If a switch BC set has tables/views with different cascade properties,
then it is a switch BC set with errors, which you must correct. You
cannot activate this kind of switch BC set.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The SAP error message S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY219 indicates that there is an issue with the cascading attributes of a table in a specific object. This typically occurs during the configuration of a project or when trying to activate a particular configuration in the SAP system. The error suggests that at least one table in the specified object has incorrect settings related to cascading updates or deletions.

    Cause:

The error can be caused by several factors, including:

    1. Incorrect Configuration: The cascading attributes for the tables involved may not be set correctly. This can happen if the relationships between tables are not properly defined or if there are inconsistencies in the configuration settings.

    2. Review Relationships: Verify the relationships between the tables. Ensure that the parent-child relationships are correctly defined and that cascading updates/deletes are appropriately configured.

    3. Check for Missing Dependencies: Ensure that all necessary dependencies are included in the configuration. If you suspect that a transport issue may have occurred, check the transport logs and ensure that all relevant objects were transported correctly.

    4. Use Transaction SE11: You can use transaction SE11 (Data Dictionary) to check the definitions of the tables involved. Look for the "Foreign Keys" section to see if the cascading options are set correctly.

    5. Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about the correct settings, consult the SAP documentation or reach out to your SAP support team for guidance.

    6. Testing: After making the necessary changes, test the configuration to ensure that the error no longer occurs.
