How To Fix S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY082 - Dummy object: No customizing tables are assigned to this object

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY - IMG Activity

  • Message number: 082

  • Message text: Dummy object: No customizing tables are assigned to this object

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

A dummy object has been assigned to the IMG activity. Such an object
must not contain transactions which maintain a standard customizing
object (e.g. a view or view cluster).

    System Response

You cannot put the activity in BC Sets, because dummy objects cannot
contain customizing tables. BC Sets can only contain activities which
are based on tabular objects (e.g. views, view clusters, ...).

    How to fix this error?

Check whether the activity uses customizing table settings:
If the activity, for example, only makes checks, and does not maintain
customizing data, the dummy object is justified. You can set the BC Set
compatibility check status for this activity to 'Finished'.
If the object assignment is incorrect, i.e. a dummy object has been
assigned, although the activity maintains a tabular customizing object,
assign this customizing object to the activity (SIMGH).
    <ZH>Note</>:
You must analyze the dummy object to ensure that the entries are
    correct. You can:
See the transaction text in SE93. This can tell you whether data is
    updated.
Call SPRO to analyze the IMG activity more closely. If the customizing
object is not in the IMG structure, call the customizing object directly
    with the transaction code.
