Message text: 'LO' (log book) records can only be deleted as last records
You are not allowed to delete 'LO' records on MONI database as long as
other data of the corresponding server are saved on MONI.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Since the 'LO' record contains the main information about all records
of the corresponding server which are in table MONI, all other records
have to be deleted before the 'LO' record can be removed from MONI.
Thus, first delete all other records of the corresponding server.

S1051
- 'LO' (log book) records can only be deleted as last records ?The SAP error message S1051 indicates that you are trying to delete a log book (LO) record that is not the last record in the sequence. This restriction is in place to maintain the integrity of the log book data, as log entries are typically structured in a way that requires the last entry to be deleted first.
Cause:
The error occurs when you attempt to delete a log book entry that is not the most recent entry. In SAP, log book entries are often sequential, and the system enforces a rule that only the last entry can be deleted to prevent inconsistencies in the log data.
Solution:
To resolve this error, follow these steps:
Identify the Last Record: Check the log book entries to identify which entry is the last one. You can do this by reviewing the entries in the log book and noting the timestamps or sequence numbers.
Delete the Last Record First: If you need to delete a specific entry, you must first delete the last entry in the log book. Once the last entry is deleted, you can then proceed to delete the desired entry.
Use Transaction Codes: Depending on the specific log book you are working with, you may use transaction codes such as:
- SLG1: For application log
- S_ALR_87012357: For log book reports
- S_BCE_68000100: For log book maintenance
Check User Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to delete log book entries. If you do not have the required authorizations, you may need to contact your SAP administrator.
Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about the process or the implications of deleting log entries, refer to the SAP documentation or consult with your SAP support team for guidance.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the S1051 error and manage your log book entries effectively.
