What causes this issue?

A contingent beneficiary "inherits" the retirement plan only when all
primary beneficiaries have deceased. Therefore, assigning the same
person to be both primary and contingent beneficiary for the same plan,
is not very useful.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Please make sure that the table listing the primary beneficiaries
contains different business partners than the table listing the
contingent beneficiaries.
