definition in Web item <ZK>Ad-hoc Query Designer</> .
The query cannot be changed or saved.
Activating the Change and Transport Organizer in a BW system is only
advisable in a small number of cases (see SAP Note 356018). You then
have to use BEx Query Designer to edit queries.

RSZA017
- Transport system is active - could not save/change queries ?The SAP error message RSZA017 indicates that the transport system is currently active, which prevents the saving or changing of queries in the SAP Query tool. This typically occurs when the transport system is in a state that does not allow modifications to be made to query objects.
Cause:
- Transport System Active: The transport system is in a state where it is processing transports, which locks certain objects to ensure data integrity.
- Query Objects Locked: The specific query or the area where you are trying to save or change queries is locked due to the transport system being active.
- User Authorization: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary authorizations to make changes to queries.
Solution:
- Wait for Transport Completion: If the transport system is currently processing, wait until it completes. Once the transport is finished, you should be able to save or change queries.
- Check Transport Logs: Review the transport logs to see if there are any issues that need to be resolved before the transport can complete.
- Release Locks: If you have the necessary authorizations, you can check for and release any locks that may be preventing changes. Use transaction code SM12 to view and manage locks.
- Check User Authorizations: Ensure that you have the appropriate authorizations to modify queries. You may need to contact your SAP security team if you suspect authorization issues.
- Use a Different Client: If you are working in a development client, consider switching to a different client where the transport system is not active.
- Contact Basis Team: If the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact your SAP Basis team to investigate the transport system's status and resolve any underlying issues.
