You have to choose a new technical name when saving the broadcast
setting.
Execution of the changed setting will continue to be possible because
this does not require you to save beforehand.
To change other users' broadcast settings on the database as well, you
need the appropriate authorization for the authorization object
<DS:UO.S_RS_ADMWB>S_RS_ADMWB</>.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
