Message text: Conversion of your parameterization not possible. Correct the URL
The URL that you are using has errors and could not be converted into a
correct internal format. However, this is necessary to be able to
perform a comparison with the stored precalculations and their
parameterization.
The system cannot find a suitable precalculation under these
circumstances.
This can have the following causes:
- The URL has technical errors (syntactically incorrect). Generate a
correct URL as stated in the Web API documentation. In Index.htm for the
current precalculation in the Reporting Agent Page Store (transaction
RSRAPS), you can also find a correct URL for the current document as a
comment. Call this up.
- There is no characteristic / no characteristic value or no hierarchy
node or no variable name / variable value in the system that corresponds
to the value entered. Here you should also use the value generated by
the system (see above).

RSRB1023
- Conversion of your parameterization not possible. Correct the URL ?The SAP error message RSRB1023, "Conversion of your parameterization not possible. Correct the URL," typically occurs in the context of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or SAP BusinessObjects when there is an issue with the URL parameters used to access a report or query. This error indicates that the system is unable to interpret the parameters provided in the URL, which can lead to the failure of report execution or data retrieval.
Causes:
- Incorrect URL Format: The URL may not be formatted correctly, leading to issues in parameter parsing.
- Missing Parameters: Required parameters may be missing from the URL, causing the system to be unable to process the request.
- Invalid Parameter Values: The values provided for the parameters may not be valid or may not match the expected data types.
- Changes in Query Structure: If the underlying query or report structure has changed (e.g., fields added or removed), the existing URL may no longer be valid.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to access the data or report, leading to a failure in parameter conversion.
Solutions:
- Check URL Syntax: Review the URL for any syntax errors. Ensure that it follows the correct format and includes all necessary parameters.
- Verify Parameters: Ensure that all required parameters are included in the URL and that they have valid values. Check the documentation for the report or query to confirm the expected parameters.
- Test with Default Values: If possible, try accessing the report with default parameter values to see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is with specific parameter values.
- Update URL: If the underlying query has changed, update the URL to reflect the new structure. This may involve modifying parameter names or values.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the report or query. If not, work with your SAP security team to grant the required permissions.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or support resources for guidance on the specific report or query you are trying to access.
