  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

InfoProvider &1 contains characteristic &2 with a separate
implementation. This prevents the scenario from running as SAP
    HANA-optimized with PAK.

    System Response

As described in SAP Note 1637199, this characteristic makes the whole
scenario run using classic IP-based planning, rather than as SAP
HANA-optimized with PAK. The performance of planning actions like
executing sequences is the same as in classic BW-IP.

    How to fix this error?

Remove characteristic &2 from your planning-enabled InfoProvider to run
the scenario as SAP HANA-optimized. If your characteristic references a
standard InfoObject from the technical content, contact SAP development
for more help. From 7.4 SP5 onwards, you also can try to remodel
InfoObjects using SAP HANA views. Implementations of this type are
    supported in PAK.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    3. Data Source Compatibility: Ensure that the data source being used is compatible with the InfoProvider and the characteristics involved. You may need to adjust the data source or the InfoProvider settings.
    4. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific InfoProvider and characteristic to understand any known issues or additional configuration steps that may be required.
