Message text: Non-cumulative InfoProvider &1; cannot run scenario as SAP HANA-optimized
Non-cumulative cube &1 prevents the whole scenario from running as SAP
HANA-optimized with PAK.
As described in SAP Note 1637199, this non-cumulative cube makes the
whole scenario run using classic IP-based planning<(>,<)> rather than
SAP HANA-optimized with PAK. The performance of planning actions like
executing sequences is the same as in classic BW-IP.
Make the planning cube &1 cumulative or create a cumulative copy of this
cube, in order to use PAK.

RSR_PE050
- Non-cumulative InfoProvider &1; cannot run scenario as SAP HANA-optimized ?The SAP error message RSR_PE050 indicates that a non-cumulative InfoProvider is being used in a scenario that requires it to be SAP HANA-optimized. This error typically arises in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when trying to execute a query or a data flow that is not compatible with the HANA-optimized features.
Cause:
- Non-Cumulative InfoProvider: The InfoProvider in question is non-cumulative, meaning it does not support cumulative data storage and processing. Non-cumulative InfoProviders are typically used for data that does not accumulate over time, such as transactional data.
- HANA Optimization: The scenario you are trying to run is optimized for SAP HANA, which requires the use of cumulative InfoProviders or specific types of InfoProviders that can leverage HANA's in-memory capabilities.
- Query Design: The query or data flow may be designed in a way that expects cumulative data processing, which is incompatible with non-cumulative InfoProviders.
Solution:
- Change InfoProvider Type: If possible, consider changing the InfoProvider to a cumulative type that is compatible with HANA optimization. This may involve redesigning the data model.
- Adjust Query Design: Review the query or data flow that is causing the error. If it is designed to work with cumulative data, you may need to adjust it to work with non-cumulative data or use a different InfoProvider that is compatible.
- Use Non-HANA Optimized Queries: If you must use a non-cumulative InfoProvider, consider running the query in a non-HANA optimized mode. This may involve changing settings in the query or the data flow to bypass HANA optimization.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation for specific guidelines on InfoProviders and HANA optimization. This can provide insights into best practices and compatibility requirements.

By addressing the root cause of the error and making the necessary adjustments to your InfoProvider or query design, you should be able to resolve the RSR_PE050 error and successfully run your scenario.
