Message class: RSCV - Analysis of BW objects (InfoCubes...)
Message number: 131
Message text: Entry & in master data table does not have an SID.
An entry was found in the master data, for which no entry was created
in the SID table.
The Business Information Warehouse only takes such data into account,
for which an SID exists.
Here we are only dealing with errors in certain cases, for example, if
the master data table has only been filled by loading up data in BW.
Then an SID must be provided for all of the data.
If you get this message in a system table (such as T009), then this
might be maintained with transactions outside of BW. Therefore, data
can of course be entered without BW being able to provide SID entries.
If you are dealing with a system table (e.g. T009), you can attempt to
remove the problem using program 'RRSPECSIDTAB_CORRECT'.
Therefore, please check whether there is an SID for all of the data
that has been posted and which you expect as InfoObject values. All
other data (without SID) is not used in BW.

RSCV131
- Entry & in master data table does not have an SID. ?The SAP error message RSCV131 indicates that there is an issue with the master data table where a specific entry does not have a corresponding SID (Surrogate ID). This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when dealing with master data and its integration into InfoObjects.
Cause:
- Missing SID: The entry in the master data table is expected to have a SID, which is a unique identifier for each entry in the master data. If the SID is missing, it can lead to inconsistencies and errors during data processing or reporting.
- Data Load Issues: The error may arise during data loading processes, such as when loading master data from a source system into the BW system.
- Data Model Changes: Changes in the data model or InfoObject definitions may lead to discrepancies in the master data, resulting in missing SIDs.
- Corrupted Data: There may be corruption in the master data table or issues with the data extraction process.
Solution:
- Check Master Data: Verify the master data entries in the relevant master data table. Ensure that all entries have valid SIDs.
- Rebuild SIDs: If SIDs are missing, you may need to regenerate them. This can often be done by reloading the master data or using specific SAP transactions to regenerate SIDs.
- Data Load Process: Review the data load process to ensure that it is correctly configured and that all necessary data is being loaded. Check for any errors in the data load logs.
- Consistency Check: Use transaction codes like
RSBAS000
(for consistency checks) to identify and resolve inconsistencies in the master data.- Data Source Configuration: Ensure that the data source from which the master data is being extracted is correctly configured and that it is providing all necessary fields, including those required for SID generation.
- SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide guidance on resolving SID-related issues.
