- Entry &1 in SID table of char. &2 is missing in master data table &3 ?The SAP error message RSCV130 indicates that there is a missing entry in the master data table for a specific characteristic in the SID (Surrogate ID) table. This typically occurs during the process of data extraction or loading in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when the system is trying to access a characteristic that does not have a corresponding entry in the master data table.
Cause:
- Missing Master Data: The characteristic value that is being referenced does not exist in the master data table. This can happen if the data was not loaded correctly or if there are inconsistencies in the data.
- Data Load Issues: There may have been issues during the data load process, such as failed loads or incomplete data.
- Data Deletion: The master data for the characteristic may have been deleted or not yet created.
- Incorrect SID Generation: The SID for the characteristic may not have been generated correctly, leading to a mismatch.
Solution:
- Check Master Data: Verify that the master data for the characteristic exists in the relevant master data table. You can do this by checking the master data in the SAP BW system.
- Load Missing Data: If the master data is missing, you may need to load the missing data into the master data table. This can be done through the data loading process in SAP BW.
- Reprocess Data: If the data load was incomplete or failed, you may need to reprocess the data load to ensure that all necessary data is present.
- Check for Deletions: Ensure that the master data has not been inadvertently deleted. If it has, you may need to restore it from a backup or reload it.
- SID Table Consistency: Check the consistency of the SID table and ensure that it is correctly populated. You may need to regenerate SIDs if there are inconsistencies.
- Data Source Configuration: Review the configuration of the data source to ensure that it is set up correctly and that it is pulling the necessary data.
