  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You tried to assign DataSource &V1& to the daemon &V2&. This DataSource
is assigned to a data transfer process (DTP) that defines the parameters
for the InfoProvider &V3&. A DTP that supplies data to the InfoProvider
is also assigned to a second DataSource. Daemon &V4& is assigned to this
    second DataSource.
However, all the DTPs that supply data to the InfoProvider &V3& and thus
to the DataSources that are sources for these DTPs must be assigned to
    the same daemon.

    System Response

You cannot assign the daemon &V2& to the DataSource &V1&.

    How to fix this error?

Decide on one of the two daemons, which should then execute both DTPs
that supply data to the InfoProvider &V3&.
If you decide on daemon &V4&, assign this daemon to DataSource &V1&.
If you decide on a different daemon, first delete the assignment of
daemon &V4& to all the Data Sources to which a DTP that supplies data to
InfoProvider &V3& is assigned. Then make the assignments to the other
    daemon.

The SAP error message RSCRT347 indicates that a specific daemon (a background process) is not assigned to a particular DataSource. This error typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BW/4HANA when there are issues with the configuration of data extraction processes.

    Solution:

To resolve the RSCRT347 error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Daemon Assignment:

      • Go to the DataSource configuration in the SAP BW system.
      • Verify if the correct daemon is assigned to the DataSource. You can do this by navigating to the DataSource in the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1) and checking the settings.
    2. Assign the Daemon:

      • If the daemon is not assigned, you can assign it manually. This usually involves going to the DataSource settings and specifying the appropriate daemon.
    3. Transport Considerations:

      • If the DataSource was transported, ensure that the transport included all necessary configurations, including daemon assignments. You may need to re-transport or manually configure the settings in the target system.
    4. Check for Updates:

      • Ensure that your SAP system is up to date with the latest patches and updates, as some issues may be resolved in newer versions.
    5. Consult Documentation:

      • Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of your SAP BW system for any known issues or additional configuration steps.
    6. Contact SAP Support:

      • If the issue persists after checking the above steps, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance.
