  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You can improve the performance for request processing without semantic
    grouping.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

If you remove all field selections from the list of key fields in the
error stack on the <LS>Extraction</> tab page, the DTP uses a processing
type with better performance. The system either processes more steps in
parallel mode or continues processing the data using serial processing,
but creates several small data packages to reduce the load on the ABAP
    runtime environment.
Make sure that the semantic grouping is not a prerequisite for one of
the DTP transformations before you decide not to build any semantic
    groups.
    <ZH>Note:</>
If at least one of the transformations requires the data packages to
contain semantically closed groups, do <ZH>not</> remove the selections.
Processing in parallel modes is also influenced by various other
factors, especially the <LS>Parallel Extraction</> field on the <LS>
Extraction</> tab of the DTP. If the system is supposed to use the
processing type <ZK>Parallel Extraction and Processing</> and the field
<LS>parallel extraction</> is <ZH>not</> selected for the DTP, then you
need to select the field again. For more information on the dependencies
between the field and the processing type, read the documentation about
    the <DS:DE.RSBKPARALLELEXTR>Parallel Extraction</> field.
    More information
Read the documentation under <ZK>Performance Tips for Data Transfer
    Processes</> in the SAP library.

    4. Transformation Errors: If there are transformations defined for the data load, errors in these transformations can lead to this error message.
    5. Data Integrity Issues: There may be integrity issues with the data being loaded, such as duplicates or violations of data constraints.

    Solution:

    1. Check Data Source: Verify that the data source is correctly configured and that the data being extracted is in the expected format.
    2. Review InfoPackage Settings: Ensure that the InfoPackage settings are correct, including the selection criteria and data extraction settings.
    3. Validate Data Target: Check the target InfoProvider to ensure it is properly configured and not in a locked state. If necessary, unlock the InfoProvider.
    4. Examine Transformations: Review any transformations associated with the data load for errors or misconfigurations. Make sure that all required fields are mapped correctly.
    5. Data Quality Checks: Perform data quality checks on the source data to identify and resolve any integrity issues, such as duplicates or missing values.
    6. Check Logs: Review the error logs for more detailed information about the specific cause of the error. This can provide insights into what went wrong during the data load process.
