Message text: Extraction of request &2 from cube &1. Cube already compressed up to &3.
The source cube &V1& is already compressed. Request &V2& cannot be
extracted.
The request cannot be created.
Change the corresponding delta DTP &V4& extracting from cube &V1& and
set the flag 'Only Get Delta Once' in the extraction tab to 'TRUE'.
The result is that the compressed request will not be extracted again.
If you want to extract this compressed data again<(>,<)> then you have
to delete all the requests of the corresponding delta DTP &V4& in the
target and initialize the DTP again (create a new delta initialization
with the DTP).

RSBC215
- Extraction of request &2 from cube &1. Cube already compressed up to &3. ?The SAP error message RSBC215 indicates that there is an issue with extracting data from a data cube that has already been compressed up to a certain point. This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when trying to extract data from a cube that has been compressed, meaning that the data has been optimized for storage and is no longer in its original, uncompressed state.
Cause:
The error occurs because the data request you are trying to extract (identified by request number &2) is from a data cube (identified by cube name &1) that has been compressed up to a certain point (indicated by &3). When a cube is compressed, the data is aggregated and stored in a way that makes it more efficient for reporting and analysis, but it also means that certain requests may no longer be available for extraction.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can consider the following options:
Decompress the Cube: If you need to access the specific request that has been compressed, you may need to decompress the cube. This can be done using the transaction code
RSA1
(Data Warehousing Workbench) and navigating to the InfoCube. However, be cautious with this approach, as decompressing can lead to performance issues and may not be advisable in a production environment.Use a Different Request: If the specific request you are trying to extract is not critical, consider using a different request that is still available in the cube. You can check the available requests in the cube and select one that has not been compressed.
Load Data Again: If the data you need is not available due to compression, you may need to reload the data into the cube. This can be done by re-running the data load process for the relevant data source.
Check Compression Settings: Review the compression settings for the InfoCube to understand how often and when compression occurs. You may want to adjust these settings based on your reporting needs.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or support for more detailed guidance on handling compressed cubes and data extraction issues.
