RM206
- Run schedule headers with no production lines/Pl-IDs found ?The SAP error message RM206 indicates that there are run schedule headers (RSH) in the system that do not have any associated production lines or production line IDs (Pl-IDs). This can occur in the context of production planning and scheduling, particularly when dealing with process orders or production orders in SAP.
Cause:
- Missing Production Lines: The run schedule header may not have any production lines assigned to it. This can happen if the production lines were not created or were deleted after the RSH was created.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be configuration issues in the production planning module that prevent the assignment of production lines to the run schedule header.
- Data Inconsistencies: There could be inconsistencies in the master data or transactional data that lead to the absence of production lines.
- User Error: The user may have inadvertently created a run schedule header without properly assigning production lines.
Solution:
- Check Run Schedule Header: Review the run schedule header in question to see if it indeed has any production lines associated with it. You can do this by navigating to the relevant transaction (e.g., COR1 or COR2) and checking the details.
- Assign Production Lines: If there are no production lines, you may need to assign them manually. This can typically be done in the same transaction where you view the run schedule header.
- Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings in the production planning module to ensure that everything is set up correctly for the assignment of production lines to run schedule headers.
- Data Consistency Check: Run data consistency checks to identify any discrepancies in the master data or transactional data that may be causing the issue.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling run schedule headers and production lines.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support or your internal SAP support team for further assistance.
