- Notice rule &1/&2: use 'No Notice Possible' only on individual basis ?The SAP error message RETMPE025 typically occurs in the context of the SAP Retail module, particularly when dealing with notice rules in the Merchandise Management (MM) or Retail Management (RM) areas. This error indicates that the system is trying to apply a notice rule that is not appropriate for the context in which it is being used.

The error message "RETMPE025 Notice rule &1/&2: use 'No Notice Possible' only on individual basis" suggests that the notice rule being applied is set to "No Notice Possible," which is intended for individual items rather than for a group or batch of items. This can happen if:

- Batch Processing: The system is trying to process multiple items at once, but the rule is only valid for single items.
- Data Entry Error: There may be an error in the data entry or selection criteria that leads to the application of an inappropriate notice rule.
Solution:
To resolve this error, consider the following steps:
Review Notice Rules: Check the configuration of the notice rules in the system. Ensure that the rule you are trying to apply is appropriate for the context (individual vs. batch processing).
Use Individual Processing: If the rule is indeed meant for individual items, try processing the items one at a time instead of in bulk.
Adjust Configuration: If necessary, adjust the configuration of the notice rules to ensure they can be applied in the intended contexts. This may involve changing the settings in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG).
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more details on how to configure notice rules correctly.
