RESCCP007
- Correspondence can only be printed outside of settlement ?The SAP error message RESCCP007 indicates that correspondence (such as invoices, statements, or other documents) can only be printed outside of the settlement process. This error typically occurs in the context of SAP's Real Estate Management (RE) module, particularly when dealing with correspondence related to contracts or settlements.
Cause:
The error arises because the system restricts the printing of correspondence while a settlement process is ongoing. This is a safeguard to ensure that the documents reflect the most accurate and up-to-date information, as settlements can change the status or details of the contracts involved.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can follow these steps:
Check Settlement Status: Ensure that there are no ongoing settlements for the contract or object you are trying to print correspondence for. If a settlement is in process, you will need to wait until it is completed.
Complete or Cancel Settlement: If you are in the middle of a settlement, you may need to complete or cancel it, depending on your business process. Once the settlement is finalized, you should be able to print the correspondence.
Print Outside of Settlement: If you need to print correspondence urgently, consider doing so after the settlement process is completed. This may involve scheduling your correspondence printing tasks accordingly.
Check Configuration: If you believe that the error is occurring incorrectly (for example, if there is no active settlement), check the configuration settings in the SAP system. There may be specific settings related to correspondence and settlements that need to be reviewed.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more detailed information on the specific transaction or process you are working with. This can provide insights into any additional steps or considerations.
Contact Support: If the issue persists and you cannot identify the cause, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting with an SAP expert who can provide further assistance.
